Best Black Ops 6 Ranked Play loadouts in Season 2 Reloaded

The Black Ops 6 Ranked Play grind continues in Season 2 Reloaded, so you’ll need the best weapons and loadouts to climb the divisions.

To access Black Ops 6 Ranked Play, you must first win 50 matches in standard multiplayer playlists. After that, the grind is similar to other titles. You earn Skill Rating by winning and performing well, which helps you progress through eight Skill Divisions.

Then, all that’s left to do is choose your weapon and attachments, so here are the best Black Ops 6 Ranked loadouts.

ARs

In the Season 1 Reloaded update, Treyarch banned the Krig C, Model L, and XM4, leaving the AMES 85 and GPR 91 as the only remaining AR options.

The AMES 85 is a slightly better than the GPR 91 because its 320-millisecond time-to-kill edges out the GPR 91’s 336ms.

And even though the GPR 91 has slightly quicker ADS sprint-to-fire speeds, better bullet velocity and fire rate still make the AMES 85 a better overall option.

Despite that, we included loadouts for both ARs if you have a different personal preference.

AMES 85 (Without Gunfighter Wild Card)

The best AMES 85 attachments combination without Gunfighter WildcardDexerto | Activision
  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle:Compensator
  • Barrel: Gain Twist Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip

Some players prefer the Accu-Spot Reflex, but we believe the Kepler Microflexprovides a cleaner line of sight and is less intrusive on the screen.

The AMES 85 is already accurate, but you will get punished in Ranked Play if you miss any shots, when going up against the best of the best. So with that in mind, the Compensator addresses horizontal recoil, while the Vertical Foregripmitigates vertical recoil.

Reinforced Barrel is commonly recommended as the best Barrel as it increases damage range and bullet velocity. However, in Ranked Play, it makes more sense to use Gain Twist Barrel, which boosts bullet velocity, because the base damage range is already long enough for the game mode’s maps.

Learning to utilize Ominimovement in this game mode properly sets you apart from other players because you can slide and dive out of gunfights and outmaneuver enemies. So, we recommend using the Ergonomic Gripas it improves slide, dive-to-fire, and aim-down-sight speeds.

  • Optic: Kepler Microrflex
  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Gain Twist Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Fire Mods:Recoil Springs

The GPR 91 lacks the power of the AMES 85 but makes up for it with a rapid fire rate. With this in mind, our best loadout is all about keeping it on target with the help of the CompensatorMuzzle, Vertical Foregrip, and Recoil Springs.

Then, the Gain Twist Barrelbuffs the bullet velocity, making it more viable over longer distances. We’ve also gone for the Ergonomic Grip and Balanced Stock, which improves the ARs ADS and movement speed, making it feel light and snappy to use.

If you’d prefer Perk Greed, the build remains unchanged without the Recoil Springs or Balanced Stock. While this makes it slightly more challenging to manage the recoil, the Compensator and Vertical Foregrip still make it extremely accurate, so you shouldn’t notice too much of a change.

SMGs

The KSV and PPSh-41 emerged as contenders in Season 2, but both were banned. Players assumed that the Jackal PDW would be the best SMG after that with no competition, but the February 13 update shocked fans by banning all Barrels besides the Gain-Twist Barrel, all Muzzles, and all Fire Mods for the Jackal PDW.

However, Treyarch slightly backtracked for the February 26 update by unbanning the Recoil Springs, which will help make the SMG viable again.

Pistols

Stryder .22

  • Optic:Kepler Microflex
  • Magazine: Fast Mag II
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip

The Stryder .22 is the only handgun available in Black Ops 6 Ranked Play and since you can only equip three attachments, you should put them all on. While using Fast Mag IIwill give you fewer bullets in the mag, you’ll be much more mobile and the 20 it allows for is still an incredible amount.

Best Perks and equipment in BO6 Ranked Play

The best Perks and equipment to use in Ranked PlayDexerto | Activision
  • Perk 1: Flak Jacket or Ninja
  • Perk 2: Fast Hands
  • Perk 3: Double Time
  • Wildcard: Perk Greed
  • Perk Greed:Ninja or Dexterity
  • Melee: Knife
  • Lethal: Frag
  • Tactical: Flashbang
  • Field Upgrade: Trophy System

Ninjais a good choice for Search and Destroy because it reduces footsteps noise. For Hardpoint and Control, however, Flak Jacketis a great choice for taking less damage from explosives.

The only Perk 2 option available is Fast Hands. Despite the lack of options, this Perk is still helpful as it increases weapon swap speed.

Like Perk 2, you would be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t use Double Timein their Perk 3 slot. The ability increases the tactical sprint duration and the recharge rate, making it easier to escape gunfights, rotate, or get to a bomb site.

Perk Greedis the best Wildcard. We used that extra Perk slot on Dexterity to reduce weapon motion while diving, sliding, and jumping. However, Gunfighter is also an excellent pick with some of the loadouts mentioned above.

For the lethal equipment, Frag Grenadesor Semtex Grenadesare both viable choices. Flashbangswere surprisingly not restricted, so those are your best bet for the tactical slot.

Last up, Trophy Systems are the only available Field Upgrade. If you don’t equip Flak Jacket, this Perk is a good way to deflect grenade spam.
